Drew Vineyard, VinoSensei’s latest property acquisition, takes its name from George Drew, the first person to own this property which he purchased from the U.S. government in 1889. VinoSensei is the second farmer of this land planted to vineyard. Positioned at an altitude of 1,500 feet, this cold climate site in Mount Veeder, the southern-most mountain appellation in Napa Valley, boasts well-drained, rocky and sandy soils which produce smaller berries high in acidity and tannins. Cooler air from the San Pablo Bay brings cooler air to Drew, protecting the acidity and aromas.
